Director of Public Safety


Location: Hickory, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate all department activities, 确保遵守所有法律,遵守学校和部门的政策和程序.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least an AA degree; degree in law enforcement or related field preferred.
  • Certified Law Enforcement Officer.
  • 至少三年多班制公共安全或执法工作经验. Employment history supervising work force strongly preferred. Experience with a residential and diverse student body is strongly preferred. Experience with emergency preparedness, 特别是在紧急/危机情况下管理一个复杂的组织优先考虑.

  • Valid NC driver’s license.
  • Minimum lifting capability of 50 lbs.
